Canberra: Part 2

Nothing to do with Canberra actually
we played against Maroubra on Sunday
Result: 3-3
Verdict: forgettable game, I got clattered a couple of times which has left me aching all week
These "game" photos are suffering a "sameness" i will try and get some better snaps going ..

A painting from the national gallery from Sidney Ford's "Ned Kelly" series .. essentially the paintings depict scenes from Kelly's life and his dealings with the law. He appears with a box on his head which is symbolic of armour he wore in his scraps with the cops except in the last two paintings where instead of white eyes he has red eyes

Blue poles by Jackson Pollock .. A priceless work of art ?

Is this a kind of Winner's Dinners for Austrailian art?

Fantastic to see that you also fell foul of POllack's pewlings! I went to the Tate Modern recently and was told they only had Dali and wouldn't be displaying any Rothko despute the fact that it was on the menu. The service was shoddy and my coffee saucer had a stain on it. Keep on fighting the good fight Mr Winner!
